The Spain forum as it is today has taken over two years to grow and develop from my early dabbling with web site design.
Originally I had no intention or idea about developing an internet forum. Things have just progressed from a simple idea and grown with time.

The BNP and John Seargent, what have they in common

Years ago being British meant having a back bone. Now it means please walk all over me, Im a sad pathetic looser.
The recent BNP outrage in the UK has proven just that. And they could not have a truer name, which roughly translates into bunch of cowards party in today's light.
Lets look at just what has happened, a party is formed on beliefs. OK not every one agrees with what the BNP stands for.
They loose their membership list and it gets published so people can see who all the members are.
The press do the normal biased part of their reporting.
The BNP loose face.
Years ago, this would have been a different case.
The BNP members would rather than make said excuses as to why they were members, would have stood chest out and proud, rather than squirming cowards, scared in case they loose their jobs.
The press did their normal biased reporting. Show a knuckle dragger rather than a fine outstanding member of the public, bend the questions so only ones that show the party and its members in poor light and you have a great story and the credibility of the party is shattered.
What if the BNP had in fact been a gay lesbian single mothers against washing and using deodorant party. Would the press have been able to report in such a biased manor?
John Sargent, another victim of bullying.
Why did come dancing ask poor old John to appear on the show when they knew that he had no chance of winning the contest.
Lets face it Bruce Forsyth has been telling the same jokes for the last 100 years and they are now just monotonous drivel. In fact if he walked off, never to return, the show might become watchable rather than having to listen to his drivel which seems to go on longer than the dancing.
If John had not walked out the show, it would have been poetic justice if he had been voted to win, which would show just what a complete farce it is.
People are moaning that a good dancer went each week instead of John. At best, one of those voted out would have lasted one more week.
The abuse and comments John has taken from the queens, poof or what ever term you use to describe two of the judges have been totally out of order.
Just think if John was not in fact a white guy but instead a member of the gay lesbian single mothers against the use of deodorant party. There would have been total outcry and calls of racist behaviour.
England has a queen who rules the country, we dont need more bloody queens trying to rule the TV

 | Cant quite understand where you are coming from with the blog on the BNP. You say they would have stood proud at one time now you believe them to be cowards. You appear to have run away from a country you once felt proud to belong to. Should you not have stayed and puffed your chest out or are you just a coward too? |
