Having bought your property in Spain, you should now start considering what will happen to it in the event of your death.

Under International Private Law, even though your national law will initially apply to the distribution of your belongings, an exception applies to real estate property, which will be subject to the laws of the country where the property is situated.

To avoid any misunderstandings, it is advisable for most people to prepare a Spanish Will relating to their property in Spain.

Grosso & Maldonado can easily assist you in its preparation and make an appointment for you at the Notary's Office.

Please note that Joint Wills are not allowed by Spanish law: Husband and wife will be required to formalise separate documents.

Service description

* Number of working hours: 1
* Deliverables: Will. Appointment at the Spanish Notary (you cannot do this through a Power of Attorney), including Notary Public's fees.
* Cost: 150 GBP
