Theres heaps.......trophy hunting in Africa and various Eu countries is the sport of the rich and famous here.....or anybody aspiring to be ....theres an awful lot of heads coming back to Spain to be mounted on walls here....

Theres lots of gun & hunting mags such as Hunters, feder Caza, armas y municiones etc etc with a few ads for taxidermists...

Having said that if you are 'not connected' it would probably be easier to get work with an established Spanish taxidermist first ....then start your own business......

Or you could put an ad in one of the magazines...

'British Taxidermist in Spain' ....the middle/upper class here admire most quality things British !!! Catch is ad will have to be in Spanish and you'll have to speak a bit as although many young spaniards speak english....their parents....the ones that bankroll safaris...dont.....

good luck !!!

Hi Peter,
Thanks for your reply, much appreciated. I have found the spanish taxidermy association now which lists all members most of which seem to be in Madrid with a couple in Toledo. Most of my stuff is done on the net anyway, and I have been listening to Michel Thomas for about 2 years now so I am quite keen to learn the language. Anyway, your advice and reply was very helpfull.
Regards Dave.
