Hi Just to let you chilli heads know that fresh chillies are being sold at BH Stores in Catral on Thursdays and Fridays. The chillies are freshly harvested the day they are put on sale.
Bag contents vary seasonally, this weeks bags include a hand picked selection of hot banana chillies, serrano, piri piri, slender green cayenne and sunworshipper chillies.
Bags sell at 1 euro a bag.
6 week old Piri Piri plants will also be on sale at 50cents a plant for those of you who wish to grow your own chillies!
The chilli farm currently has 32 varieties of chilli although harvesting times differ according to variety.

This weeks harvest will be picked fresh on Thurs 7th Aug lunchtime and be available for purchase at BH Stores in Catral after 1.30pm on Thurs and be on sale Friday 8th and Saturday 9th.

The mixed bags sell for one euro and contain the following:
Serrano
Red Piri Piri
Krakatoa
Sunworshipper
Sweet Banana

The chilli bags have been popular and sell out quickly, if you are driving any distance then feel free to pre order and reserve your bags.

Bags are priced at 1 euro each.
Piri Piri bags are on offer priced at 50cents a bag.

Next weeks chillies will be harvested on Thurs 28th August and will be on sale after 1.30pm.

Hi Hazman

The hottest chilli I did (the chilli season has ended now) was the Bhut Jolokia listed as the hottest in the world. The Bulgarian carrot was also a firey chilli!
