Hi guys,

Just to let you know about Mobinet Wirelessconnection S.L in Almoradi.
We have just had them install internet and VoIp system for a very reasonable price and very good speeds. For example just done a speed test and got 26 ping... 2145kbs download and 1876kbs upload.
My telephone works great to no breakages in the line calling national or internationally!! which is a bonus compaired to my last provider....
No download restriction either!
They have been really helpful so far.
I will definately be recommending them to all my friends
If anyone requires info then contact their office 966190400 or visit them in Almoradi
Keep up the good work guys...... :-)
hasta luego
hiland lass.

Thanks los gatos for the info. I suppose you don't have landline in Catral & you've to use antenne.

I also have Mobinet Wirelessconnection (formerly known as Punto Acceso from Catral)

and to be honest im not pleased at all..... I loose conection all the time, on a good day (if im lucky) i only get 1MB Down and 600kb up.

Downloading things such as updates, movies, games etc... is a total nightmare.

it took me 8 hours to download a 1GB file.

This is my broadband experience in spain.
about seven years ago when there was not much choice in wireless broadband service providers i was stuck with one company which was totally unreliable and gave me a lot of headaches. the same company has expanded a lot and i believe has improved their service.
after a few changes now i use aeromax which i find quite reliable and more to the point download and upload speeds are closely accurate.
Having said that all broadband sevices in spain are far too expensive compared to other countries especially wireless.

Hi ST
We looked at different internet options a while back.
Its the small print that gets you.
The magic words "up to" being the optimal ones to look at.
I know there are one or two companies out there that are offering good deals
Free instillation being one of the offerings to get clients

The best comparison is to look at a mid range speed, say 2 MB, then work on the prices from there

In all honesty, in this area, I think you have to go a long way to beat Skynet link on what they offer, plus the service they give.

I know one of my friends recently tried an internet dongle that plugs into the USB port on his computer. After an extension wire to get it into a better position for receiving the signal and one or two choice words with the people that sold him the device, he is looking at alternatives
