| Re: golf course in Dolores The golf course in Dolores so rumour has it, has the go ahead to be built, but there is problems getting the OK for the water
Its location if all goes ahead is the by the sports area
If you come into Dolores from Almoradi, you come to the big roundabout where if you turn left you go to Catral. Go straight over the roundabout on the new sports area is on the right.
It is planed to be built around that area
There has been a lot of new apartments built in the area
And if all goes well and it does go ahead, off the top of my head, I think they expect it to create about 1000 new jobs in the area, either related to the golf course or to do with the influx of golfers etc etc
I am a bit sketchy on it, but that is going by the rumours I have heard.
It would be nice to have some one with more accurate information put me right
It should also be good for people with holiday homes that rent them out |

| Re: golf course hi sue not a lot
but earlier at the recinto ferial (I think 'homes and garden show') there was a company selling mobile homes and they were advertising that a new golf course had been agreed with the mayor of dolores as well as a mobile home park (Sierra Mar I think it was to be called.)
Just outside dolores was a small exhibition place ( with flags out) where they would show the mobile homes to people, this is still there but in a vastley reduced state.
The golf course was said to be going to be created near SATS animal place wether it still is dont know hope this helps you could go to that exhibition place or even the mayor of dolorers and ask. One further point if a golf course does open house prices dolores castral etc etcn etc will rocket! |

| Re: golf course Could you tell me where the sports centre is please? Is it near the new development that has street lights on every night with no houses?

| Re: golf course If you come into Dolores from Almoradi. Go under the motorway, up to the big roundabout where you turn left to go to Catral. Go straight over and the new sports centre is on the right
Or if you come into Dolores from Catral. Down to the big roundabout where you turn right to Almoradi, turn left and its on your right
The golf course is planed for that area.
Last time I went past there, it looked like there were a lot of roads in place ready for new developments. The sports centre does look like its coming along quite well. Very well laid out |

| Re: golf course I don't understand how they'll fit the golf course in then. When we bought our house, we understood the course was being built on the Catral side of Dolores. Obviously we were misinformed.
Presumably you are talking about the development alonside the San Fulgencio road?

| Re: golf course Think yourself lucky, when we purchased our house we were told it was legal :Copy of doh:
I'm not sure which side of the San Fulgencio road the golf course will be situated on. But it is definitely in that area once they have the water permits etc sorted out. Which are rumoured to be the hold up on its completion |

| Re: golf course Sorry about your house. out:
Hopefully the course won't affect us too much then except perhaps to improve prices. We're about 2k down the San Fulgencio road, near the border with Dolores and San Fulgencio. |

| Re: golf course It would be nice for the area to be known for a golf course rather than the present reasons.
There was a press article last year I believe, that estimated over a 1000 new jobs could be created in the area, either through the golf course or industry related to it.
So it will be good in many ways as well as help the local economy |
