Can anyone recommend a good local garage to use.

Problem on my part, is my truck is not a normal, run of the mill type car, so they need to be half decent, good at sourcing parts etc

And preferably a ford specialist.

I had heard that there was a garage on the industrial estate on the right as you leave the village from the roundabout, but I am buggered if I could find the place on a scout about up there earlier today.

English, Spanish, I dont care, as long as they can speak English

Thanks in advance for any help

Hi Lee.
I have found out that the garage I mentioned to you has moved around the corner from where it was - sorry that i sent you to the wrong place (hehe). I will find out its exact location and let you know and will post it here so anyone else interested can find it.

Stuart, a certain female friend on these forums is waiting eagerly to dish abuse about my navigational skills.

At least this shows your at fault and not me, once again. Thank god for that, another escape from her relentless ridicule.

Hopkins if you read this

I think I tried most roads off the cross roads you mentioned in a hope of finding the place.

What was the name of the garage again, something like "The Village Garage"

Yes its called "the village garage" so Jeff of " The Village Garage" if you read this then post your address here so we can all find you. I do have the phone number for them so long as it is still the same if you want to try to call them.

Have just spoken to them - they are now located on the road behind the fish and chip shop in catral

No you should be ok the road goes in both directions so you should be able to get lost no matter what way you go, its even got a couple of cross roads and junctions just so as to confuse you even more

You want to see Jeff when you go there, he owns and runs the place and knows what he is talking about. When I first got my F150 I took it straight to him and got him to ive it a look over and change the fan belt for me, he had it done in half a day (due to the number of pullys etc) , I asked him about servicing etc and he said that it was not a problem and that he can get any parts that would be needed. Unlike another garage in the area that shall remain nameless who told me the only place that I could get it done was at Ford´s as it required "specialist tools" (I think they just couldnt see over the bonnet heheh)
But Jeff at "The Village Garage" is the man to see and they wont mess you about.
