New toll road being built near Catral

 

Im tempted to do an artist impression of what the view of the mountain will be like if another rumour is true about the motorway having a flyover section

But that would just be silly

Our house is just off the map area shown, so we wont be directly affected ether.

Going by the legal system over here, if the town halls are fighting against it, we might never get to see it being built. As the saying goes in Catral, we live in hope

Thanks for the maps Lee. It looks like the road is slightly further from my house than I thought it was going to be, but still too close. We bought this house because of the views of the mountains, now that view will be interupted by a motorway, not to mention all the muck and dust that will be created when they are building it. Still I am a lot better off than those poor people whose houses will be demolished to make way for this road.
