There is a rumour circulating at present that the Mayor of Catral will be talking about the illegal builds
Seems our Teflon Mayor who has more come backs than a yo yo at high speed is still in control.

The meeting is being held at Catral's cultural centre on Tuesday the 27th March at 11am

The details are very sketchy to say the least. There has been no word on what to fully expect if the meeting does happen. But if it don't there will be plenty of people gathering there anyway by the sounds of it

Just a quick update on this.
Unfortunately I could not make it, due to other commitments.
But the mayor did turn up and made his normal promises about if he gets re elected etc etc. All of which seemed to fall on deaf ears, due to his present situation of only being mayor in name.
He had mentioned intention of moving the Catral building boundary further down toward Dolores and making all the illegal houses legal, if he gets re elected

The meeting did go ahead how ever the ex mayopr was not present as you would expect since he was voted out of office BUT a solicitor was there to advise and talk on the illegal builds, this soliicitor was originally brought in by the ex mayor of catral to help ex pats who wanted more info re houses, the mayor has attended 2 meetings in the 'Casa Cultura' as requested by ex pats , what mayor would have done that if as alledged he was responsible for all probelms?
