The UK is England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland altogether,
Which part of the UK?
Are you one of these people who only calls England, the UK?

I have done it, as for what it will cost and how long it will take it all depends on where you start from and where in Spain you want to go.
we had two drivers and started in West Yorkshire drove down to Dover across France through the Pyrenees and into Spain,we went to the Costa brave and it took us around 27 hours, you would have to check out the cost of the ferry and tolls once your in france.

I would assume the poster is asking how long it takes from landing in Europe ( yes, I'm aware the UK in in Europe) rather than time to get to their nearest car ferry.
They came here for advice.....not pointless comments

the original question is abit like how long is a piece of string TBH.

its depends on how far way from a Uk ferry port you are, which port you choose and where in spain you are headed.

we did Devon to the costa blanca.

it took 50 mins to get to plymouth, 24 hours on ferry to santander, and then an overnight stop between santander and alicante.

all this sort of info can be found by searching www. so it makes me wonder if the OP has considered stuff like insurance, lenght of stay, recovery service and so on

I drive from England to Spain.

I lived in Derby and drove to plymouth (took about 6 hours with 2 small kids and a cat). We caught the ferry to Santander (cost about £500) then we drove from Santander to La Manga, Murcia (took about 9 hours and diesel cost about £250.

Really nice drive and ferry crossing though.
