I believe the homologated process is part of the ITV when importing a car.

My own American truck cost 2500 euro's to import.

I purchased one that had been imported into the UK and had British plates and log book. And that was a pain getting it imported, even with a British log book, which should have made things easy.

Something to be aware of, is keeping the vehicle to factory spec. Any add on's to the car can cause a lot of unwanted grief and failures of the ITV. Things like bog standard wheels, no add on's such as bull bars etc.

To get an idea of what I went through going through the process, which took about two months with a lot of grief, check the following link

It should give you a bit more insight

I am moving to Sax in May this year and I am bringing my Harley from Canada. Is there anyone that can give me information on the process to register my bike in Spain or if someone could point me in the right direction or again a shop that could handled the process. I have looked long and hard and cant find information on the process... what is required ect. I know I need an NEI, proof of ownership, insurance ect but what I am really concerned with is the ITV inpection requirement. Is there online a sit that will tell you the requirement of a specific vehicle...???
I would appreciate any information.
On another note since I am Canadian and I guess we really cant drive properly here... I am to redo my license... which mean tke a test and all. Does anybody know of a place that will give the ;essons and test in English since my Spanish is not very good at the moment.

Again thank you...
