Importing UK motorcycle

 

Does anyone knoe exactly what is involved? i understand it is a lot simpler and less expensive than a car with very little to be paid on under 250cc ? I will be importing a 1000cc.

From what I remember of what the guys said who imported my car for me.

The import costs are the same for the paper work, since its the same process for a car and bike log book.

They mentioned the rolling road test being a bit on the change of pants needed side.

Its the same process as a car. Most bikes they said at the time, you could get away with just flipping the headlight round, but you can get the odd exception where you will need a new lens.

The guys I used to import my car, also did motorbikes
