Post Number 11 | Spain in its uniqueness has some strange or different ways of looking at things.
Airguns are classed as toys here. In the UK, you can buy an airgun, no licence needed, go out and shoot vermin and pests as long as you have permission to shoot on the land. People there will spend thousands on hunting and target shooting rigs. Some of my own air rifles in the UK used to cost up to 1000 GBP each, plus scopes etc. Look at the price of the Daystates.
Over here in Spain, even with the 18ft/lbs power limit, they are looked upon as toys for plinking. Gamo produced and sell the air shotgun. Great bit of kit for close ratting. But under Spanish law, you cant.
I believe, from memory, even certain caliber center fire and rim fire, you are only allowed to target shoot.
As with all things, getting caught is another thing.
