Thumbs up Re: Getting a Spanish license

Mookman your a Star!

Thats great news that there is a way to transfer my UK license, I will try and get things sorted over the following few weeks and will let the group know how things work out and give any further info on this subject that can help others in the same boat.

On the subject of the Section 1 FAC from the UK, that others have mentioned, I also have a Section 1 and will enquire if this can be exchanged also, so watch this space and as soon as I get things sorted, I will be more than happy to assist anyone else who is contemplating this.

In the mean time happy shooting and watch this space:Copy of clap2:

Pistol licence I have no idea about. If I beat Mookman on this reply I will be very surprised. He is the man all things pistol related and has given people advice about the finer points of finding gun clubs to shoot pistols at.

As far as I know, but stand to be corrected on this. There are two shot gun clubs that cater for English speakers in either direction on the motorway from us.

One is in Claybusters is located close to the village of Zurgena. Which is about 1 hour 30 south of us. I have been a bit reluctant to return due to an unfortunate mishap that needed a digger to pull my car free from some mud down there, with a bar full of people cheering The pictures are on the forum some where.

They are a well organised club, club house with bar, hot food etc. I recommend them, from my own visits. But I was there using the airgun facilities rather than the shoties.

There is another clay shooting club up near Alicante some where that caters for holiday makers as well. Two years ago their web site had more information on it relating to the club rather than the holiday maker aspect.
I have not been, so can not make any judgement.

Sid might have found more information relating to clubs in the Alicante area, he is in the process of moving over from the UK. And is heading about an hour or so inland from Alicante
