I've been living in the Murcia region of Spain for almost a year now and would like to know where the nearist gun club is to me. I used to shoot in the UK before they banned just about everything! my main interest is full bore pistol but would be happy to shoot anything really except airguns, they just don't do anything for me.
I have tried but can't find any info on this, I can only speak minimal Spanish at the moment so if the info is out there in spanish then I'm never going to find it! Help anyone?

Send a PM to Mookman, he's shooting IPSC with a CZ-75 and is the forum expert on Spanish gun laws.

I hope you'll let us all know how you get on. I live in Torrevieja and fly back to the U.K. to shoot full bore rifle but I really miss my CZ75 9mm and my S&W Mod 19 .357 that our political masters took off me despite the fact that I shot for Great Britain. It would be nice to be able to practice with anything over here. Best of luck. Ken

When I shot practical pistol with my Colt Government I was always getting stovepipe jams. When I got my CZ75 it never jammed once over the 2 years I had it before our fascist government confiscated it. I would really have liked to have tried the CZ85 which came ready with ambidextorous safety etc. Good luck for the future but I expect it is the ammo causing the jams not the mags. Ken

Hi

I have lived in the Murcia region for some years now and like you used to shoot pistol in England and would like to shoot at the nearest Club to La Manga. Apparently this is Club De Tiro Olimpico De Precision in Cartagena. Have you any knowledge of this club and where they shoot. If so do you know of any English speaking members.

Regards
Cliff

Hi
I have only recently joined the forum and seen your query re gun clubs. I live in Spain in La Manga for 10 months of the year and return to Enland for the remainder. I, like you, used to shoot full bore pistols in England before the ban and would like to shoot in Spain. Did you have any success in finding a club in the Murcia Region and if so I would be grateful if you could send me details.
Regards
Cliff

go to armas.es, or google home page, language tools and enter armas.es , this will be translated to english...
you have just got to turn up at any of the clubs and show you are interested and speak to the guys there.. they will not bite..
if the clubs are clay shooting only , ask about pistol, most people will do both or know someone who does.
good luck.
mookman.
