Can anyone help please. I left my shotguns stored in the UK and in the meantime the license ran out.

I now seen stuck between a rock and a hard place!!

I contacted the police under a pseudonym and asked for their advice, surprise surprise they simply asked me to provide all my details..which puts me at their mercy and being a cynic I suspect they may not show much mercy.

This was a genuine oversight, can anyone help....please

It's a bit difficult, technically you've probably committed an offence. What is your firearms licensing authority like ? some can be awkward bastards, but most aren't too bad.

I deal with licensing authorities regularly ( I'm a UK registered firearms dealer ) and my experience is that telling them the truth is the best option. If you have made an honest mistake or oversight then they'll try and straighten it out rather than jumping on you like a ton of bricks. Usually, anyway......

They will have noted your license expiring and could already be in a bit of a flap trying to track down whats happened to your guns. It's not something thats going to go away.

hi, do you have an EFP, are the guns stored at a dealers or in your mates garage.join a spanish club, then get the guns shipped over here and transfered. if you live here and are a spanish resident this is the way to go.
do not give up, do not let them keep your guns.
