Smile just collectected my type f license

hi there,
just seen youre forum, i was looking for another shooting in spain website, this was through, ham and petersham rifle and pistol club, but i think its shut down .well ive just picked up my type f pistol license to go with my shotgun, and blackpowder licences
must say pistol license not as hard as it could be , but VERY frustrating.
its a bit like being a probationer all over again.
the good news is ive got a cz75 to shoot, great pistols had one in the uk so im pretty good with it , bit of a shock having to shoot every thing one handed though. still roll on practical , thats what i say.
good luck mookman

Congratulations on that

How hard is it to get your fire arms certificate over here?
And whats involved?

I have heard its like winning the jackpot on the lottery when you get it

Were you a member of ham and petersham rifle and pistol club
The one time I visited the club, I met the member who was a survivor of Arnhem
One hell of a guy and I am very proud to have met the guy and amazed to see him still enjoying the sport

Default pistol license

hi lee,
yea, great to get the license, like i said its not as hard as its made out to be , you have just to keep on plugging at it.
if you take the exam with a .22 you can shoot any calibre!!!!!
you have to get a percentage score, over 51 you can have one pistol , the 6 pistols , then 10!!
i passed first time on an average score so i can have one pistol ,BUT TWO BARRELS, so cz75 with 9mm and.22. so i can shoot precision AND 9mm practical.
yes ,i was a member of h@p, great club, i was on the committee and me and a friend introduced practical shotgun there , but it tooka while for the oldschool to agree!!
there where and , still are some proper heroes there, pat heath one of the first across pegasus bridge, didnt wear ear muffs then so why should he wear them now, still shoots gallery rifle, pissed about the ban though!! let me know if i can help you out. cheers mookman
