not sure if this is the right place for this post, but what the hey 
google have just launched a new internet browser for free download, first impressions are that it is very fast and knocks spots off of internet explorer 7 and firefox 3. i will keep testing and let you know if there are any bugs

A couple of things to be aware of
Ask yourself how it predicts your favourite websites, and then ask yourself where this information is stored and for how long, who can access it, and what it might be used for.
People better read the [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register] very very closely before using this browser. It gives Google the right to use anything you upload via the browser for their own purposes without payment. This means any works uploaded to blogs, websites, etc etc are effectively owned by Google. You retain the copyright but give away control of your works to Google. It will not be going on my computer.

the feature where website visited info is stored at google can be disabled in the options menu and the EULA has been altered as below

and as the cover-all get-out

And 11.4 has gone - along with 11.2 and 11.3.
| more worrying are the 2 vulnerabilities so far discovered, 1 of which is the carpet bomb which has been disabled in safari 3.1.2
i will keep testing and update this thread as and when any new info is at hand

look at opera, its the same format , its fast ,and has the same speed dial.
not sure about any of the other stuff though  | |

other browsers also store info from https sites, they just don't index it, but it is available from the cache files even in IE8, which supposedly has a private browsing mode.
I have tried Opera, currently version 9.5 and although it has an intuitive interface, I have found it to be a lot slower than chrome beta. In fact, being involved in IT training I have a number of browsers installed ( currently IE 6, IE 7, IE 8, Firefox 3, Opera 9.5 and safari and all of them have vulnerabilities and quirks. While I wouldn't advise anyone to use chrome as their default browser as yet (or even install it unless they are fairly computer literate), I am reasonably impressed with it's performance so far, particularly for a beta
