Fabio Capello left the England squad stunned yesterday when he told them to take a break from his regimented regime and get onto the course and play 9 holes.
The new manager has imposed strict restrictions on his squad’s time whilst they areon international duty, but with his methods so far failing to deliver, he felt itwas time to try something new.
Capello even joined in with the players and whilst Jimmy Bullard has impressed intraining, it was on the golf course where he took most of the plaudits. The Fulhammidfielder is a keen golfer and plays off scratch. Maybe his on-course antics haveput him into the reckoning for an England start against Andorra in Barcelona on Saturday.
Everyones favourite footballer is certainly not scared of anything.
