Awareness of personal hygiene
Knowledge of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation
Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards
Demonstrate the proper and safe usage of all kitchen equipment
Ensure the economic usage of all utilities such as gas, electricity, etc
Ability to support the control of food cost
Lead and support the junior members of the team
Close liaison with all sections of the kitchen in order to ensure smooth and efficient service
Ability to produce work in accordance with a dateline which has been set
Seek own solutions to the minor obstacles from time to time
To support the process of maintaining the products effectively and progress with ideas and input
Qualifications
EU Work permit
Knowledge of English and Spanish, other languages are an advantage
Minimum of 2 years experience in the same position
Holder of a Basic Health and Hygiene Certificate
Holder of First Aid Certificate
