 Del Boys Guardamar
No doubt people will expect a big thumbs up for a well know shop in Guardamar.
This is anything but.
If I was to rate this shop, British products on shelf would be 10/10
Attitude to customers would not even reach a 0/10. Minus figures would be a lot more appropriate.
I'm not one to advise anyone one how to run a business. But lets face it after todays visit, the attitude toward customers was damed right rude if not appalling by any ones standards.
Situation to judge by.
Your in a chest freezer moving a split packet of food over so you can get to an unsplit packet and from behind the serving/ till counter you hear a comment on the lines of
"excuse me darling what are you doing"
At this stage it was pointed out, what was the problem and we got informed that in was caused by customers doing similar to us, rough handling of the food items.
This was put over to us in a rude manor
Have I missed the point somewhere in customer relations and keeping customers happy.
Golden rules, don't upset the customers they will keep coming back and don't be rude to customers they will keep returning.
Oh and next time you upset a customer, make sure they don't own and run an internet web site aimed at the Costa Blanca who don't give a shit about naming and shaming your shop for diabolical service
A few exchanges of words then occurred with our items being left along with exiting of the shop.
Up until today I had this shop in high regard for supplying us expats with food items we miss from home.
After today, this shop will be the very last place we ever visit no matter how desperate we are for food items.
