Just had the house tremor like an earth quake. Either that or some local loony has been smoking near his fire work collection

Whole house shook from top to bottom. Neighbours were out looking to see what happened. This happened about ten minutes ago

Three were three more tremors that came along about 01:30.

One was quite impressive. You heard the rumble coming, then the house shook along with rattling from items on the shelfs.

If common sense had kicked in, it would no doubt have been safer to sleep under the stars with the mozzies than under the duvet with the aircon

Looks like it never even made it onto or showed up on the Spanish earthquake monitoring map

The epicenter of the eartquake was located between Benijofar and Formentera Del Segura acording to the latitude and longitude points stated on an earthquake monitoring web site.

Simple case of entering them into Google earth for the location.

It wasnt really an earthquake was it Lee. You just ate to many pickle eggs.

We felt the one about 1.30 am here in Playa Flamenca, it rattled the TV.
