I would like to befriend my female colleagues…something which I am somehow unable to do. There are some women in my office I find attractive and would like to date them. But I have to get familiar before I do that. How do I approach them? Any help?

My advice to you is just be yourself. People men and women are drawn to happy, positive people. If you have emotional baggage going on in your head, you may as well forget it. That shows in whatever you do and people will offer you support but not for long.

Don't refer to other relationships, they are in the past, there is a reason that they are there.

Just be friends and don't be desperate.
