More news on the promised big update

 

Some people might have noticed one or two changes going on over the last month or so.

Thats included the logo for the observant today

This is all in preparation for a planned update / change thats been in the planning since October and is still in the planning stages on my part.

This will be a complete overhaul of the forum layout.

In both design, layout and feel. Making everything look a lot more professional and more user friendly

But, the new version of the forum software is still having a lot of bugs since its release, until these are sorted, I will not chance the big change. ETA of the change is between two weeks to how ever long it takes the developers to get things right.

That plus a couple of the main add on´s used here, still need to come up to par, once the above software is bug free.

Watch this space

Just a quick update on this and Hokins, one word from you, my girl and I will seek more revenge

Im still waiting on all the parts coming together from the different developers.

The biggest let down so far has been with the forum software. I can upgrade at any time, but, with the last two releases, there has been over 200 bugs sorted on each one.

Im still monitoring the developers sites daily, for the bugs people are reporting and the issues people are encountering.

Remember this is something which has been planned since October, at first my own guess was January some time, now it might even be late February or even March.

As the saying goes, "why fix it if it aint broken"

When it does go ahead, it will be worth the effort on my part

And the end results will be good, to say the least

 

Now over three months in the planning and still no closer to the big upgrade.
I wont waste my time and cause unwanted problems for everyone until the developers resolve the present issues.
A new updated version has been released today with more than 200 bugs sorted and reading the early reports, a few more have been created in the process.

At this rate, the houses will be legal before the upgrade takes place

It will happen, but only when Im happy and know you lot, wont be on the receiving end of a dire product
