Humax 320GB Freesat+ Foxsat-HDR

Humax's FOXSAT-HD FreeSat receiver was perfectly fine for those with no need for timeshifting, but for the throngs of others who just can't live without some sort of DVR functionality, your day has finally come. The aforementioned company has today launched its Freesat+ Foxsat-HDR, which packs two FreeSat HD digital TV tuners (which can also access analog channels), support for radio / interactive channels, a 320GB hard drive for storing up to 80 hours of HD material or 200 hours of SD content and an HDMI port to boot. The downright sexy set-top-box also includes Dolby Digital audio output, two SCART sockets, a bundled remote, radio recording, split recording and the ability to "live pause" with instant rewind. Get ready to grab yours !!!!!

the "Humax Foxsat HDR Freesat+" is due to go on sale for £299 from this coming Saturday the 22nd November (damn was 2 days late as i had posted the 24th as the launch date....oh well no-one is perfect!). Demand will vastly outstrip supply, and it may be a few more weeks until independant retailers are able to supply them to Spain.

but beware as there is the "Humax Foxsat HDR" - ie the non freesat version - which has been available for a few weeks already, and look exactly the same bar the freesat logo, and will not have the freesat epg.

Im not too sure about FSTVCB saying it is a "downright sexy" receiver tho...he may have some personal issues to address!!!lol

Not being one to judge, but Jon, disguise your reply style when joining as another ron on there

I wonder what forum has the mispleasure of his bollox being posted now. I can imagine him being a spotty kid, rather than a caring old guy looking after the expats.

One thing I have noticed in my own opinion is his condescending attitude to those that question his motives.
