Here's a story I got told through the local expat rumour machine.

A woman in Dolores, had a visit from the police, which resulted in a 1000 euro fine plus the removal of her satellite dish.
We were also informed that there was a big notice in Dolores town hall stating the facts about the satellite dishes.

The same woman was said to be recording the soaps and passing them around her friends and people she knew.

I have been in Dolores town hall to check out the rumored existence of the mentioned notice, but could not find it myself. This does not mean its not there, if it is.

The above was a rumour. The person telling the story, said that she had also seen the paperwork issued at the time the fine was given.

Whats the saying over over here, 90% bullshit, mixed with 10% cow shit is the best recipe for good gossip.

I wont say where I heard the rumour in Dolores. Some things which have sounded like total bs, have come true, so this is one to watch. Must be a better story line than east enders

Now if its a story thats doing the rounds, it will consist of different towns and different amounts for the fines each time

Does make you wonder though
