He was charging 400€ and nothing more to pay!
i have also seen someone saying they are getting the main UK TV channels off Nilesat.....but it was just how the "rebroadcaster" had configured the receiver and fooling the people into thinking the signals were coming from another satellite....

also watch out for installers offering BBC Prime via hotbird for nothing - it is a subscription channel - but with some software on certain receivers bbc prime can be opened - but not for long as they are in the process of changing their encryption to an "unhacked" version....

We have seen people making changes to telmicro boxes and getting them a load of free channels with no subscription for 250 euro

These channels include BBC etc

Funny thing is to receive those you need a dish pointing towards the sky. The alterations include the non mesh Telmicro type dish pointed land wards.

One guy doing this in my area, is a neighbours best mate and has done it for another neighbour who is a builder, who don't take shit from anyone.
Needless to say, I'm waiting to see the results when the transmission gets stopped.

Karen, just looking at the info, blond woman with machine gun.
Safest place will be sat on the inflatable toys with a beer watching those behind you run for cover

I think the telmicro statement said it all! if anyone would like to consider having your own dish route, either for just yourself or as a community, please feel free to ask.

we offer free without obligation quotations.... All I would say to everyone please be very careful about people offering you "legal" systems for about 400€ and no more to pay as they are not genuine! the real give away is when things like UK gold and Setanta sports are included as these are pay per view, package channels or whatever you want to call them, they are just not free. Also ask which satellite its coming from, then ask me and I can tell you, but to be honest, unless your using a big dish and are pointing at 28.2 E its a rebroadcast! the final giveaway if its pointing towards the ground or appears too as opposed to pointing skywards its another way to spot the con

I hope this helps who ever see´s this post

Just had this passed on to me. How true it is, I have no idea

Quote:
Well the signal that everyone has been picking up with a dish from AKI Leroy Merlin's e etc has just started to be encrypted and one one channel it is showing adverts of the companies that have been ripping off their signal.

they are also saying that over the next few days its all going to be scrambled....

So not good news for those people who have been caught out by it all!

Marienboys warning has come true. Many of the people receiving the 20 channel satellite package these guys have been installing are now down to just one channel thats not encrypted.

They have been retuning people telmicro television receivers to use the Solaris television transmissions.

And solaris television are now putting a stop to it

People have payed between 200 euro to 400 euro to these con men

I can not believe what these guys have been doing. My heart goes out to all those that have been ripped off in this way

To make it worse, its a lot of Brit on Brit coning

Can anyone advise me about Torresattv. I have been told that they are a reputable company to go with and unlikely to be shut down.

The BBC ITV and Sky have all said that no one has the rights to rebroadcast their service. There are some exceptions ie the BBC have given permission to ROI, Belgium and the Netherlands as reported in CB news I think it was. Sky have sold Sky sports to Canal plus apparently but I do not recall any rebroadcasters being given permission. To settle your mind ask to see the written permission from any of the big three broadcasting companies, I doubt anyone can.

I hope this info helps
