| Airgun club in Murcia or Alicante regions Due to the only expat airgun club in Spain being in Zurgena, if anyone from the Alicante region or Murcia province wants to meet up or try and start another target shooting club on the Costa Brava, please get in touch.

| Hmmm,
I would definitely be up for that Lee, although after the summer (Sept on) because at the moment I am pretty bogged down with work. The question is, where and how many of us actually are there? I get the impression that in spite of your best intentions and obvious dedication to the cause, we seem to be few in number.
What I cannot fathom is that with so many of us now resident around here and air gunning being relatively popular (at least by Spanish standards) in the UK, you would think that by the law of averages there would be a fair few people interested. Anyhow, it is always necessary to start from somewhere and these things tend to gain momentum.

| This place looks dead at present. There are three shooting related web sites link through to here. Airguns In Spain. Every thing you need to know about air guns in Spain and Shooting Spain.Spanish gun laws, laws on guns in Spain plus one other that looks so poor I'm embarrassed I built it Two of those are being heavily pushed on the internet along with 11 others that link through to the forums. Thats just a part of the collection of web sites Im behind.
I'm about two or three weeks into it and estimate another for or six weeks left doing what I'm doing.
Without being too technical, I am working hard on increasing where they all come in the search engines, if they do well, the sites they link to do well.
So it means more people will find us
I shot down at Zurgena airgun club last summer and it was pure evil in the heat. So best plan for September time and see if we get any more interest build up

| Re: Airgun club in Murcia or Alicante regions Your the second person to reply in god knows how many months.
I'm still up for getting the idea going. In the UK I was a keen target shooter. But in all honesty, I preferred plinking. Or general fun shooting.
At my disposal here, if the interest does start taking off, there is a semi decent selection of targets ranging from knock downs, knock down/up and a Gamo moving target
The moving target is great fun
I also have probably the biggest collection of a type of airgun outside the UK thats now illegal to buy, sell and swap in the UK. Plus one or two others

| Re: Airgun club in Murcia or Alicante regions blimey,
am i missing something.
you live in a country where you can shoot fullbore pistol, revolver, short high cap pump action shotguns.
you can do this at stupid static targets , or, play practical pistol, with nice clangy steel plates.
why, oh why, do you want to shoot air rifles.....
grumpy of malaga. |

| Re: Airgun club in Murcia or Alicante regions No need for fire arms certificate
Better power limits than those of the UK
Cheaper ammo than full bore
You can shoot them in your garden.
If you have a loose filling in your gob, an 18ft/lbs Gamo, will soon help dislodge it
And were too far away from Malaga to play with your guns
Now if you moved a few hundred miles closer
